OUR RESPONSIBILITY
The company, its owners/directors/members, employees, suppliers and sub-contractors shall not be responsible for any loss or damage, consequential or otherwise, that might be occasioned by the products purchased from our site. Similarly, no responsibility will be taken for any injuries to or death of people and animals or any damage to property whatsoever.

OWNERSHIP
Ownership passes to the buyer when the goods in question leave our premises. All goods are shipped uninsured but you may elect to purchase optional insurance. This is available at cost +10% + VAT.

Passing of ownership assumes payment has been received in full.

PAYMENTS
Payments are to be made in ZAR (South African Rand) with all bank commissions for the buyer’s account (credit card fees are excluded). Goods are shipped as soon as payment is reflected in our account.

PRICING
Our prices include VAT at the rate applicable on the date of purchase (currently 14%) and will be adjusted in line with government policy thereon. Prices are quoted ex our premises, suitably packed for standard mail/courier.

If our suppliers increase prices, or undue variations in the exchange rate takes place (beyond 5%), we reserve the right to alter our prices. The purchaser will be advised before dispatch of the goods and has the right to cancel the order.

CANCELLATION OF ORDER
No order confirmed by our staff may be cancelled by the purchaser.

RETURNS
Unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange if 3 days have elapsed since the date of your purchase. Used items are not eligible for return/refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in the original, undamaged and unopened packaging. The packaging must show no tears, cuts, repairs and the like.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. A written agreement to the return the item/s must first be obtained from our staff.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

To return your product please contact us.

You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs to return the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
We endeavour to have all listed items in stock. However, should it happen that an item is out of stock, a full refund or alternative product of the same value may be supplied. We will confirm with the customer which action he prefers us to will take.

GIFTS
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

DELIVERY
Goods are shipping strictly on a first come first served basis. The time for delivery depends on the mode of transport selected and typically varies between 3 and 10 working days in South Africa.
Depending on where you live, the time taken for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item of considerable value, or a limited edition item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance (see above). We cannot guarantee that you/we will receive your sent/returned item.

WARRANTY
All our goods are imported under the express agreement of the respective manufacturers. All electrical items with movable parts carry a 6 month warrantee. Fair wear and tear as well as misuse/abuse are expressly excluded in all cases. All such items must be returned for inspection in our workshop.

Adjustments, attempted repair, modification and the like of any item will automatically nullify any warrantee and no exchange or refund will be considered.

The purchaser must advise us in writing within 5 days of receipt of faulty goods.

Morethandiecast’s staff will ensure all items shipped are without defect and tested in the case of electronic/electric equipment. Individual components in educational/electric/electronic kits are excluded from this process.


APPLICABLE LAW
The place of performance of all contractual duties shall be at our registered offices in Gauteng South Africa. All and any disputes arising from any cause whatsoever shall, at our discretion, be resolved through the courts of the South Gauteng region. If applicable, arbitration will be conducted by an arbitrator appointed by the Association of Arbitrators (Gauteng). The language of the proceedings shall be English in all cases.

All actions, proceedings etc, are conducted according to South African law.

COMPLAINTS
All complaint should be sent in writing to sales@morethandiecast.co.za We will be in contact once your complaint has been reviewed by our staff and we will provide feedback as soon as possible.

REFUNDS, AS APPLICABLE

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your claim is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Credits to a bank account will be carried out with all charges for the customer’s account.

Only regularly priced items may be refunded. Sale, special offer and discounted items cannot be refunded.


LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@morethandiecast.co.za


EXCHANGES (IF APPLICABLE)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged due to reasons attributable to morethandiecast staff or suppliers. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@morethandiecast.co.za. 

We shall endeavour to exchange a faulty item with an item of the same description, as applicable. If such an item is not available for any reason whatsoever, a replacement of the same model but of different colour will be supplied. In this regard it must be noted that many items are of the limited edition type and stocks are therefore not indefinite. A refund may be applied for if so required in this specific case.
